Delivery from Laredo

How does delivery work across Bexar County?

Bexar County delivery runs roughly 155 miles (approximate) up I-35 from Laredo to San Antonio, then out on I-10, I-410 or Loop 1604 to your site. The county is large, so we route by highway. Bexar County is Zone 3: 48 hours' notice, a per-trip distance fee shared across units, and weekly route-day service.

We plan each Bexar County trip around the first stop off I-35 and work outward, so tell us early if your site has a narrow gate, a guard shack or set delivery hours. Suburban stops add little to a trip that already reaches San Antonio. A festival in Universal City and a jobsite in Elmendorf can ride the same truck, and both share one fee.

Be honest with yourself about urgency: a single unit needed today is usually faster from a Bexar County company. Our strength is planned, bigger orders.

County rules

What county rules apply to big Bexar County events?

In unincorporated Bexar County, events with more than 2,500 people lasting 5+ hours or overnight fall under the Texas Mass Gatherings Act, permitted by the Bexar County Judge with 45 days' notice. Inside San Antonio parks, events with 1,000+ patrons must supply additional portalets. Each suburban city sets its own event rules.

Typical rentals

What Bexar County jobs fit a Laredo-based route?

Bexar County jobs that fit our route have 3 traits: several units, planned dates and length. A 60-person jobsite needing 2 units for 6 months, a suburban festival needing a 20-unit bank, or a ranch wedding outside Loop 1604 all spread one distance fee well. A single unit for a 1-day backyard party usually does not.

From our call logs
12 of 19

rental callers we reviewed needed a unit for just one day. Our event price is flat for 1–5 days on site, so a one-day party costs the same as a Friday-to-Monday stay. In Bexar County, pair that one-day unit with a hand-wash station or a second toilet so the shared trip fee does more work.

How many units does a Bexar County jobsite need?

A Bexar County jobsite needs units by OSHA Table D-1: 1 toilet for 20 or fewer workers, then 1 seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers up to 199. A standard PolyJohn PJN3 has both, so a 60-worker site needs 2 units. Add hand washing where 1926.51(f) applies, and plan 2 summer visits for big crews.

Crew sizeMinimum (OSHA)Our summer recommendation
1–201 standard unit2 services a week if 8+ workers
21–401 seat + 1 urinal1 standard unit, 2 visits a week
41–802 seats + 2 urinals2 units, 2 visits a week, + hand-wash station where needed
81–1203 seats + 3 urinals3 units, 2 visits a week, + hand-wash

Placement & servicing

How are Bexar County units placed and serviced?

Bexar County units sit on level, firm ground near a truck path about 10–11 feet wide, with 3 feet clear at the door and shade in summer. Jobsite units get 1 weekly service on our Bexar County route day, included in the 28-day rate. Extra visits need 1 business day of notice.

  • Gated sites. Send the gate code and hours so the service tech gets in.
  • Multiple sites. We service all your Bexar County units on the same day.
  • Pickup. Call when done; pickup comes within 1–2 business days of your call.

FAQ

Bexar County porta potty questions

Questions taken from real rental calls, answered by our dispatchers.

(956) 396-3700
What does a multi-unit order in Bexar County cost?
Each unit is priced like Laredo: a standard event unit typically runs $150–$225 before tax for 1–5 days, and a jobsite unit about $135–$199 per 28 days with weekly service. Zone 3 adds one distance fee per trip, typically $150–$350, split across every unit on the truck.
Our event is on a ranch outside San Antonio city limits. Who issues the permit?
If it draws more than 2,500 people (or 500+ mostly under 21 with alcohol) for 5+ hours or overnight, the Texas Mass Gatherings Act applies and the permit goes through the Bexar County Judge. File at least 45 days ahead and include your restroom plan.
Do you deliver to Schertz, Selma and Universal City?
Yes. Those northeast cities sit on our scheduled Bexar County route. Parts of Schertz and Selma cross into Guadalupe and Comal counties, and we deliver there too. Each city has its own rules, so check with city hall for public events.
Can you get a porta potty to Elmendorf by tomorrow?
Only if a truck is already scheduled up I-35 that day. Bexar County normally needs 48 hours' notice. For a single unit tomorrow, a San Antonio-based company is likely faster; for several units or a long job, we are a solid fit.
Will my jobsite in Bexar County get the same weekly service as Laredo?
Yes. Every long-term unit gets a weekly pump, scrub, sanitize and restock, with a dated service ticket, on our Bexar County route day. In summer, crews of 8 or more should book 2 visits a week.
Can we pay with a company card and get an invoice?
Yes. We take Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and debit, by phone or secure text link, and business accounts can be invoiced. We do not take cash and do not add card fees or fuel surcharges.
