Delivery & timing · 20 questions

When can a porta potty be delivered in Laredo?

A porta potty can be delivered the same day in Laredo and nearby Webb County when you call by 12:00 noon, Monday through Saturday. Dispatch gives a 4-hour window, and the driver texts about 30 minutes ahead. Weekend events drop Thursday or Friday and get picked up Monday, at no extra rental charge.

Delivery & timing

Do you have any availability for this weekend?
Usually, yes. Standard units and hand-wash stations are same-day stock in Laredo, and weekend events drop Thursday or Friday. Holiday weekends fill first: 6 of the 19 rental calls we reviewed landed in a holiday-weekend rush. Call (956) 396-3700 early in the week to lock in your unit.
Can you get one out here tomorrow?
Yes in Laredo, Rio Bravo, El Cenizo and nearby Webb County (Zone 1), and usually in Zone 2 towns such as Zapata, Encinal or Hebbronville on a next-day route. Booking the day before also avoids the same-day fee. Zone 3 cities like San Antonio and Corpus Christi need 48 hours' notice.
Can somebody come by today?
In Zone 1, yes, when you call (956) 396-3700 by 12:00 noon, Monday through Saturday. Same-day stock is standard porta potties and hand-wash stations. A same-day fee of $0–$85 may apply, and dispatch tells you the amount before you pay. After noon, you get the first route the next morning.
What time can they have it delivered?
Dispatch gives you a 4-hour delivery window, and the driver calls or texts about 30 minutes before arriving. Ask for morning or afternoon when you book, and we note it on the route. Trucks run Monday through Saturday during our 7 am–7 pm hours.
Any idea what time they'll come, or can we check closer to the date?
Yes, check closer to the date. Text or call (956) 396-3700 a day or two before, and dispatch confirms your 4-hour window once the route is built. The driver still texts about 30 minutes out on the day.
Will you bring it that morning or the night before?
For a weekend event, we usually drop it Thursday or Friday, so the unit waits for your party instead of the other way around. An early drop costs nothing extra, because an event rental covers 1 to 5 days on site. Same-morning drops are possible when you ask for a morning window.
Our event starts at 6:30 pm. Will it be there in time?
Yes. Tell dispatch your start time, and we route your drop earlier that day or the day before. An evening party should never depend on a late truck, so we plan delivery hours ahead of your first guest.
The invitation says 4, but people always show up early. Will it be there?
Give dispatch the time the first guests really arrive, not the invitation time. We route to that, and most weekend parties get their unit a day or two early anyway. You set it up once, and it's ready when the first car pulls in.
Why would you deliver a day or two early? Does that cost more?
So your event never waits on a truck, and no, it costs nothing extra. One event price covers 1 to 5 days on site, so a Thursday drop and Monday pickup cost the same as a same-day drop. In the 19 calls we reviewed, 10 ended with that drop-before, pick-up-after schedule.
Can the driver call before getting here? Is 30 minutes' notice enough?
Yes. The driver calls or texts about 30 minutes before arriving, in English or Spanish. For most homes that's enough time to put the dog inside, open the gate and move a car. Need longer, or someone else is meeting the truck? Say so when you book, and we note it.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Saturdays, yes. Jason Rental Works runs 7 am to 7 pm on Saturday. There are no Sunday deliveries or pickups, so a Sunday event gets a Friday or Saturday drop and a Monday pickup.
Do you deliver to my town?
Type your ZIP into the checker at the top of this page, or call. Zone 1 covers Laredo ZIPs 78040–78046 and 78049, Rio Bravo, El Cenizo and nearby Webb County. Scheduled routes reach Zapata, Eagle Pass, Del Rio, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley. See all delivery zones.
Where are you located? Where will the truck come from?
Our yard is at 3804 San Bernardo Ave, Laredo, TX 78041, on San Bernardo just west of I-35 in central Laredo. Every truck leaves from that yard, so north Laredo, Mines Road and south Laredo are all a short run.
Can you have it there before everyone arrives tomorrow?
In Zone 1, yes, when you book today. Next-day units go out on the morning routes with a 4-hour window. Tell dispatch when guests arrive, and we route your drop ahead of that time.
Our original company can't deliver. Can you step in?
Often, yes. Call (956) 396-3700 as soon as you hear. If it's before noon, Monday through Saturday, and you're in Zone 1, a standard unit can go out the same day. One caller in our sample lost her unit when the first company's driver had an accident the day before a holiday weekend.
How soon can you pump out my camper?
RV and camper holding-tank pump-outs in Laredo are scheduled, usually within 1–3 business days. The typical cost is $95–$175 per visit before tax. Tell dispatch the tank size and how close the truck can park. Details: RV and camper pump-out.
Can you deliver on a specific weekday?
Yes. Choose any day Monday through Saturday when you book. Your date and address show on the invoice, and your reservation number arrives by text.
If you're running behind, is the next business day okay?
We don't plan to run behind on your date. If a flash flood or a road closure forces a change, dispatch calls you before your window, not after, and gives you the next available time.
Do you take porta potties across the bridge to Nuevo Laredo?
No. Taking rental units into Mexico requires a Mexican customs broker and a temporary import filing, so we serve the Laredo side only. We place units at warehouses, yards and event sites near the bridges in Texas. See border-area rentals.
How much notice do you need for San Antonio, Corpus Christi or the Valley?
48 hours. Zone 3 cities run on scheduled long-haul routes, which work best for multi-unit events, long-term jobsites and oilfield crews. One distance fee is quoted per trip and shared across every unit on the truck.
Placement & access · 15 questions

Where can a porta potty go on my property?

A porta potty can go on any level, firm spot the truck can reach: caliche, gravel, packed dirt or concrete. The truck needs a path about 10–11 feet wide with nothing hanging under 12 feet, and the crew can cart an empty unit about 25 feet. Leave 3 feet clear in front of the door.

Placement & access

I don't know where it's going yet. Can I tell you later?
Yes. Five of the 19 callers we reviewed hadn't picked a spot when they booked. Text a photo or a short description to (956) 396-3700 any time before delivery, or mark the spot with a cone, chair, flag or ribbon.
Can we show you where to put it on the day of?
Yes. If you're home, the driver texts about 30 minutes out and you can walk him to the spot. If you won't be home, mark the spot or text a photo, and he places it there.
Where should it go: backyard, driveway or front yard?
Wherever the ground is level and firm and the truck can reach it. Side yards and driveway edges work well. Keep 3 feet clear in front of the door, pick shade from May through September, and avoid low spots that flood.
Can it go on my concrete driveway against the fence?
Yes. Concrete is the best surface there is. Leave 3 feet clear in front of the door, and face the door away from the fence so it opens fully.
Can it go back by the barn or the bonfire area on a dirt drive?
Yes, if the truck can get within about 25 feet; our crew can cart an empty unit that far. The drive should be about 10–11 feet wide and firm. Keep the unit well away from the fire itself.
Can it go by the trees across a little creek bridge?
Only if the truck can cross safely or the spot is within about 25 feet of where the truck can park. Many small private bridges can't carry a service truck. Text a photo of the crossing before delivery.
Can you put it on the side, away from where people are eating?
Yes. Add a note like "side of the barn, away from the food tent" to your order, and the driver follows it. Hand-wash stations can sit between the toilets and the food line.
Can it go on the gravel area beside our building?
Yes. Gravel is good ground. On a long-term rental, leave room for the service truck to back up close each week.
Can you just set it in the field off our dirt road?
Yes, if the field is firm and dry. After a hard Laredo rain, caliche roads and pastures turn soft, so we may place the unit at the edge of the field. Send a Google Maps pin with the order.
Can it go at the end of the city street, or does it have to be on my property?
On your property. Placing a unit in the City of Laredo right-of-way generally requires a permit from Building Development Services, pulled by a registered contractor. We place units just inside your property line instead.
There's a low cable over my driveway. Can the truck get in?
Tell dispatch when you book. The truck needs about 12 feet of clearance. The driver calls ahead, and if the line is too low, the crew can set the unit short of it and cart it up to about 25 feet.
My dog will be out and there's an electric fence. Is that a problem?
Please put pets inside during your delivery window, and tell us about the electric fence so the driver knows before opening a gate. One caller's German Shepherd came up on the call, and that note is exactly what drivers need.
Do you need a gate code?
Yes, if there is one. Add gate codes, lock combinations and the on-site contact's number to the order. For ranches and pad sites, also send a map pin and any cattle guards or caliche roads.
Can I move it myself with my tractor?
Please don't. A used unit can't be moved or tipped until it's pumped, and dragging or towing with a tractor or truck is damage the renter pays for. Call us and we move it after pumping.
Will a porta potty fit through my side gate?
A standard PolyJohn PJN3 is 43.5 inches wide, so it needs a gate at least 48 inches wide. The wheelchair-accessible unit is 62 inches wide and usually goes in from the driveway rather than through a side gate.
Units & features · 24 questions

Which porta potty units can I rent from Jason Rental Works?

Jason Rental Works rents 5 kinds of restroom: the standard PolyJohn PJN3, the deluxe PolyJohn Fleet with a flush and sink, the wheelchair-accessible PolyJohn Comfort XL, the 2-sink PolyJohn Bravo hand-wash station, and restroom trailers with A/C. Towable units serve oilfield and ranch crews, and pump-out trucks serve RVs.

Units & features

Can I rent one of your deluxe porta potties?
Yes. The PolyJohn Fleet deluxe unit has a foot-pump flush, a lid that closes over the bowl, and a sink with soap and paper towels. It typically costs $235–$345 per event before tax. See the deluxe flushing unit.
It has a sink in it, right?
The deluxe unit does, with its own water, soap and paper towels. The standard unit does not; pair it with a 2-sink hand-wash station when food is served.
Do I have to hook it up to water or plumbing?
No. Standard, deluxe, wheelchair-accessible and hand-wash units are self-contained. Only restroom trailers need power: a 120V outlet within 100 feet. A water hookup for a trailer is optional.
How many flushes does the deluxe unit have?
The deluxe unit flushes from its own flush tank into a 60-gallon waste tank. Plan it like a standard unit: about 50 guests for a party of 4 hours. For longer events, add a service visit between days.
What does it come stocked with? Will it be stocked when it arrives?
Yes, every unit arrives pumped, sanitized and stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer; the standard holds 2 rolls. The deluxe adds sink water, soap and paper towels. Hand-wash stations come with soap and paper towels.
Is it nice? Is it really nice?
Every unit is pumped, scrubbed, sanitized and restocked at our yard before delivery. For an engagement party, a 90th birthday or a wedding, the deluxe flushing unit with a sink looks and feels the most like a real bathroom.
What about the one with the hand-washing thing?
Two choices: the deluxe unit has a sink inside, or you pair a standard unit with a separate 2-sink hand-wash station. The separate station lets 2 people wash while someone else uses the toilet.
Can I get just a hand-wash station?
Yes. A 2-sink PolyJohn Bravo hand-wash station typically runs $85–$150 per event before tax, with about 34 gallons of fresh water, soap and paper towels. See hand-wash stations.
Do you have handicap porta potties?
Yes. The wheelchair-accessible PolyJohn Comfort XL measures 62 by 62 inches, with a 32 by 74-inch door frame, a roll-in floor with no step and more than 16 square feet inside. It typically runs $210–$310 per event before tax.
Does it have to be ADA, or just handicap accessible?
For a private party, a wheelchair-accessible unit is what you need. Whether a public site meets the ADA depends on the whole setup, including ground, path and signage, not just the unit. If an inspector or permit office is involved, ask what they require before your event.
We need someone in a wheelchair to be able to use it. Which one do we need?
The wheelchair-accessible Comfort XL. Place it on firm, level ground such as concrete or packed caliche, with a smooth path from the party and no curb in the way. More on the wheelchair-accessible unit.
Do we need an accessible unit for a big public event?
Plan on it. The 2010 ADA Standards §213.2 call for at least 5% of clustered portable toilets to be accessible, with a minimum of 1 per cluster. One festival caller in our sample hadn't planned one for about 2,000 people.
Do you have restroom trailers?
Yes, 2-stall and 3-station restroom trailers with flushing toilets, sinks, mirrors and A/C. Both trailer requests in the calls we reviewed were for weddings. See restroom trailers.
Is it a two-stall? What sizes do the trailers come in?
We rent a 2-stall trailer and a 3-station trailer. The 2-stall is the common choice for a home wedding or a venue that wants extra restrooms.
Does a restroom trailer need water and electricity?
Power, yes: a 120V outlet within 100 feet, and a regular 110V household outlet works for the 2-stall. Water is optional. The trailer also needs a level spot with 20–30 feet of length.
Does the trailer price include setup?
Yes. A restroom trailer typically runs $750–$2,400 for a weekend before tax, including delivery, setup and removal. The exact price depends on trailer size, zone and dates.
I just need a basic one.
That's the standard PolyJohn PJN3: a seat, a urinal, 2 toilet paper rolls, a mirror and a vented, translucent roof. It's our most booked unit and same-day stock in Laredo. See the standard porta potty.
Do you do RV or camper pump-outs?
Yes. We pump RV and camper holding tanks and customer-owned restroom trailers in Laredo, usually within 1–3 business days of your call, typically $95–$175 per visit before tax.
How many gallons does my camper hold, and do you need to know?
Yes, we need to know. Tell dispatch the tank size in gallons from the camper's manual or tank label. A rough number is fine; one caller in our sample had a 20-foot camper with about 50 gallons.
Can you get the hose to my camper?
Tell us how far the camper sits from where the truck can park, and text a photo. Gates, low branches and soft ground matter more than the distance on most Laredo lots.
Do you have picnic tables, chairs, tents or dumpsters?
No. Jason Rental Works rents restroom equipment only: porta potties, hand-wash stations, restroom trailers, towable units and pump-out service. Your party rental company handles tables and tents.
Is this a special-event unit or a beat-up construction one?
Every unit goes through the same full clean before it leaves the yard. If looks matter for an engagement party or a 90th birthday, ask for the deluxe flushing unit with a sink.
I want a restroom, not a porta potty.
Then ask for a restroom trailer. Say "restroom trailer" on the call, and dispatch quotes the 2-stall or 3-station trailer with flushing toilets, running-water sinks and A/C.
Do you have towable porta potties?
Yes. A towable unit is a standard porta potty on a single-axle trailer, for oilfield pads, pipelines and ranch crews that move. See oilfield and industrial rentals.
Cleaning & servicing · 8 questions

How are rented porta potties cleaned and serviced?

Every porta potty is pumped, scrubbed, sanitized and restocked before delivery. Jobsite and long-term units get 1 service visit every week, included in the 28-day rate. In Laredo's May–September heat, we recommend 2 visits a week for crews of 8 or more, and multi-day events can add nightly service.

Cleaning & servicing

Can you service them on Saturday night between festival days?
Yes. Multi-day events such as fairs, tournaments and WBCA weekends can add nightly service. An extra service visit typically runs $40–$70 per unit before tax.
What does a service visit include?
We pump the tank, scrub every surface, sanitize, add a fresh deodorizing charge, restock paper and sanitizer, refill sink water where there is a sink, and date the service ticket inside the door.
How often do you service it on a long rental?
Once a week, included in the 28-day rate. From May through September, we recommend 2 visits a week for crews of 8 or more and for any unit used by 10 or more people a day.
Do I have to clean it myself?
No. Cleaning is our job. If a unit needs attention before its next visit, call and we schedule an extra service.
Will it get bad in the heat?
Heat speeds up odor. Laredo averages 100.8°F in July, so place the unit in shade, keep the vent clear, and schedule 2 services a week for busy jobsites. Events over 6 hours in summer can add a deodorizer refresh.
Where should it go so the service truck can reach it?
Somewhere the truck can back up close, with a path about 10–11 feet wide and no wires or branches under 12 feet. On a jobsite, keep that path clear of material deliveries on your service day.
Is one service enough for 2,000 people?
No. For a crowd that size, size the units by our method first, then add nightly service between event days. Read the festival planning page.
It's full before the next service. What do I do?
Call (956) 396-3700. We schedule an extra service visit, typically $40–$70 before tax. If it keeps happening, the crew has outgrown the unit, so add a second unit or a second weekly visit.
Pricing & payment · 23 questions

How is a porta potty rental priced and paid for?

A porta potty rental is priced per event, not per day. A standard unit typically runs $150–$225 before tax for 1 to 5 days on site, with delivery and pickup included in Laredo. Jobsite units bill every 28 days. Pay by card or a secure text link; there is no fuel surcharge and no card fee.

Pricing & payment

Can I get a quote?
Yes. Call (956) 396-3700 or use the quote form with your ZIP, date, unit, quantity and guest or crew count. Online quotes are answered within 30 minutes during business hours, and every quote is itemized.
How much is a one-day rental? Is it for 24 hours, or a day, or what?
There's no separate one-day price. One event price covers 1 to 5 days on site; a standard unit typically runs $150–$225 before tax. A one-evening party and a Friday-to-Monday weekend cost the same. Full breakdown: porta potty rental cost.
Is the restroom trailer priced by the day?
No. A restroom trailer is priced for the weekend, typically $750–$2,400 before tax, including delivery, setup and removal.
Does that include delivery and pickup?
Yes, in Zone 1. Event prices in Laredo and nearby Webb County include delivery, setup, pickup, toilet paper and sanitizer. Zone 2 adds $35–$95, and Zone 3 shares a distance fee, typically $150–$350 per trip.
What's the price for two of them?
Two standard units typically run $300–$450 per event before tax in Zone 1, with delivery and pickup included. Add Laredo's 8.25% sales tax on the quote.
Is a standard unit plus a hand-wash station cheaper than a deluxe unit?
Usually it's close. A standard ($150–$225) plus a hand-wash station ($85–$150) runs $235–$375 before tax, about the same as one deluxe unit ($235–$345). Two toilets plus one station cost less than two deluxe units.
What would the same-day fee be? If it goes crazy, I'll skip it.
It won't go crazy. The same-day fee is $0–$85, and dispatch tells you the exact number before you pay. Book a day or more ahead, and there's no same-day fee at all.
Why is same-day so much more?
Same-day means pulling a truck off a planned route. We keep that fee to a fixed $0–$85 line. In our call sample, surprise rush fees caused 2 of the 4 lost sales, which is why ours is quoted upfront.
You gave me a quote earlier. Will you honor it?
The texted quote is the price for that date, address and order. If you change the date, unit or address, dispatch re-quotes and tells you exactly which line changed.
Is there a fuel charge or other fees?
No fuel surcharge and no card fee. The only possible lines beyond the rental are a same-day fee, a Zone 2 or Zone 3 delivery fee, extra service visits you order, and sales tax.
Do you take a credit card over the phone?
Yes. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and debit, over the phone or through a secure invoice link sent by text or email.
Can you send me a payment link instead?
Yes. We text or email a secure invoice link, and you pay when you're ready. Your date is held once the rental is paid.
Does sending a payment link mean I'm signed up?
No. A link or quote is not a booking. You're booked when the invoice is paid and your reservation number arrives by text.
When will you charge my card: now, or after delivery?
When you book. Event rentals are paid in full to hold the date, and jobsite rentals pay the first 28-day cycle upfront. Cancel 24 or more hours before delivery for a full refund.
I have cash. Can I pay the driver?
No. We don't take cash, and drivers don't collect payment. Pay by card or debit by phone, or through the secure text link.
What name will the invoice come from? I called a few companies.
Jason Rental Works, on every text, email and invoice. Our website brand is Laredo Porta Potty Rentals, and both names lead to the same company and the same phone number.
I got an "accept invitation" email. Is that the invoice?
Look for the secure invoice link from Jason Rental Works. If you're unsure what a message is, call (956) 396-3700, and dispatch confirms what was sent and texts the invoice link again.
Do I sign it on my phone or by email?
Either one. The text link is usually faster, because email can land in spam. Most callers finish on their phone while dispatch is still on the line.
Are you going to send me a reservation number?
Yes. Your confirmation and reservation number come by text after you pay. Check the date, address and unit on it.
Is there anything else to pay later?
Usually no. A paid event rental has no further charges, and pickup is already scheduled. Extra charges apply only for extra service you order, damage, or a dry-run trip if the unit can't be placed.
Do you have discounts or specials?
We don't run coupons. The savings are built in: no fuel surcharge, no card fee, free Thursday or Friday drop with Monday pickup, and no same-day fee when you book a day or more ahead.
I'm assuming everyone prices about the same?
Not quite. Compare the total with tax, and look for fuel surcharges, card fees, separate pickup fees and per-day pricing. Our cost guide has a quote-comparison checklist.
Never mind, the other company is cheaper.
Check the total, not the first number. Ask whether their price includes delivery, pickup, fuel, card fees and tax, and whether it covers 1 to 5 days. If it still wins, fair enough; we'd rather you know the real numbers.

Call dispatch with your ZIP and date. We answer live in English or Spanish, Monday through Saturday, 7 am to 7 pm.

Rental length & pickup · 12 questions

How long can I keep a porta potty, and how does pickup work?

An event rental covers 1 to 5 days on site, usually a Thursday or Friday drop with a Monday pickup. Anything longer moves to a 28-day cycle with weekly service, no contract, renewing until you call. Pickup on long-term rentals happens within 1–2 business days of your call.

Rental length & pickup

Can you pick it up Monday or Tuesday? Or tomorrow, or Friday?
You pick. Monday is our standard pickup for weekend events, and any pickup day Monday through Saturday inside the 1-to-5-day event window works. If Monday is a holiday, the pickup moves to the next business day, with no extra rental charge.
Can you pick it up the night of the party?
No. Pickups run Monday through Saturday, 7 am to 7 pm, and not on Sundays, so a Saturday-night party is picked up Monday. Your event price already covers that time on site.
Do I have to call you for pickup?
Not for events; pickup is scheduled when you book. Long-term rentals renew every 28 days until you call for pickup.
I don't know the exact end date. It'll be 1–2 weeks.
Then book it as a 28-day rental with weekly service. Call when you're done, and the crew picks it up within 1–2 business days.
Do I still have to pay for a full month if I don't need it that long?
You pay one 28-day cycle, not a calendar month. A 2- or 3-week job fits inside a single cycle, typically $135–$199 before tax for a standard unit with weekly service.
Do I have to commit to too much right off the bat?
No. There's no contract. You pay the first 28-day cycle, and the rental renews only if the unit is still on site when the next cycle starts.
How does the billing cycle work for longer rentals?
The 28-day clock starts on drop day. The first cycle is paid upfront, later cycles bill as they begin, and weekly service is included in every cycle. If the project runs long, it simply keeps renewing until you call. Read about long-term 28-day rentals.
How do I stop billing?
Call (956) 396-3700 and request pickup. The crew picks up within 1–2 business days, so call a couple of days before your cycle ends to avoid starting a new one.
Can I keep it through the whole weekend for the same price?
Yes. One event price covers 1 to 5 days on site, so Thursday or Friday through Monday is included.
I only need it Saturday and Sunday. What makes the most sense?
A Friday drop and a Monday pickup. It costs the same as a Saturday-only rental, and you're never waiting on a weekend truck.
Can I cancel if plans change?
Yes. Cancel 24 or more hours before delivery for a full refund. Inside 24 hours, we refund everything except the delivery fee. Same-day orders already dispatched are not refundable. Read the rental terms.
Can I change my date?
Yes, free with 24 hours' notice before delivery. Dispatch updates the order, and your new date arrives by text.
Party & event sizing · 11 questions

How many porta potties does my party or event need?

Plan 1 standard porta potty per 50 guests for an event up to 4 hours, 1 per 35 for 4 to 8 hours and 1 per 25 overnight, always rounded up. Add 1 unit per 100 guests for alcohol, 1 hand-wash station per 2 toilets for food, and 5% accessible units for public events.

Party & event sizing

How many do I need for about 30 people?
One standard unit for a party up to 4 hours. For an overnight camp-out, plan 2, because 30 people over more than 8 hours works out to 1.2 units, which rounds up.
We're expecting 100. Is one enough?
No. A 100-guest party up to 4 hours needs 2 standard units; a longer party or one with a bar needs 3, and both together need 4. One homeowner in our sample booked 1 unit for about 100 guests. Use the sizing chart.
We have a bathroom in the house. Should I still get one?
Usually, yes, once the guest list outgrows one bathroom. One house bathroom backs up fast, and party traffic is hard on plumbing and septic systems. As one caller put it: "Don't need all that going into my house system."
We're having about 60 people, and I don't have the facilities for 60. What do I need?
For 60 guests over 4 to 8 hours, plan 2 standard units, plus 1 hand-wash station if food is served. For a party of 4 hours or less, 2 units still keep the line short.
What do you recommend for a wedding or engagement party?
The deluxe flushing unit with a sink for a small backyard engagement, and a restroom trailer with A/C for a larger or dressier wedding. Count with our method first; weddings add 1 unit per 100 guests for alcohol and another for a mostly female crowd. See wedding restrooms.
The venue has bathrooms, but they want a little extra. What's the smallest trailer?
The 2-stall restroom trailer. It runs on a regular 110V household outlet within 100 feet and needs a level spot about 20–30 feet long.
What's the best setup for a festival with 1,000–2,000 people a day?
Size by our method, add 1 unit per 100 for alcohol, 1 hand-wash station per 2 toilets, at least 1 accessible unit per cluster, and nightly service. An 8-hour, 2,000-person day with a beer garden works out to about 78 units.
Can it be delivered when we're setting up tents the day before?
Yes. Large events usually take delivery the day before or earlier, on a scheduled route with 48 hours' notice or more. Tell dispatch where the tents go so the units don't block them.
It's for an evening event. Is that a problem?
No. We deliver earlier that day or the day before, so the unit is in place well before your guests arrive.
We're camping out all weekend. Will one unit hold up?
For about 30 people over a weekend, plan 2 units. Overnight use counts as more than 8 hours, so our method uses 1 unit per 25 people.
How many porta potties for a quinceañera?
For 200 guests over 7 hours with a bar and dinner, plan 10 units: 6 for the crowd, 2 for alcohol and 2 for a mostly female crowd, with 1 of the 10 wheelchair-accessible, plus 5 hand-wash stations. See the quinceañera checklist.
Jobsites & long-term · 6 questions

How do jobsite and long-term porta potty rentals work?

Jobsite and long-term porta potties bill every 28 days, with no contract, and include 1 service visit every week. The first cycle is paid upfront, and the rental renews until you call for pickup. OSHA Table D-1 sets the crew minimum: 1 toilet for 20 or fewer workers.

Jobsites & long-term

We're redoing the bathroom and the water will be off. Can I rent one for the crew and us?
Yes. That's a 28-day rental with weekly service, typically $135–$199 before tax per cycle for a standard unit. Place it at the edge of the driveway or side yard, in shade if you can.
Is this for a house project or a business? Does it matter?
Only the rental length matters. Rentals of 1 to 5 days are priced as an event; longer ones bill every 28 days with weekly service, whether it's a homeowner or a contractor.
Do you need an on-site contact for a jobsite?
Yes. Give a name and phone number for someone on site, so the driver and the service tech can reach a person when a gate is locked or the spot changes.
Can you give me a quote I can take to my boss?
Yes. Dispatch texts or emails an itemized quote you can forward. A quote doesn't book anything until it's paid.
Is weekly service included in the 28-day price?
Yes. Every 28-day rental includes 1 visit a week: pump, scrub, sanitize, restock and a dated service ticket. Extra visits cost $40–$70 each before tax.
How many porta potties does my crew need under OSHA?
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(c) Table D-1: 1 toilet for 20 or fewer workers, then 1 seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers up to 199. Use the calculator in our OSHA and Texas rules guide.
Permits & rules · 4 questions

Do I need a permit or an accessible porta potty?

Most backyard parties need no permit. Street placement needs a City of Laredo right-of-way permit, and events outside city limits with more than 2,500 people for 5+ hours or overnight need a county judge permit under Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 751. Public sites should make at least 5% of clustered units accessible.

Permits & rules

Will the city have a problem if it's on the street?
It can. The City of Laredo requires a right-of-way permit from Building Development Services for work in the right-of-way, pulled by a registered contractor. We avoid the issue by placing units on private property.
Does the state require an accessible unit at our event?
For public events, the 2010 ADA Standards §213.2 call for at least 5% of clustered portable toilets to be accessible, with at least 1 per cluster. Large events outside city limits also fall under Texas Ch. 751. Confirm with your permit office.
Do I need a "compliant" unit with paperwork, or just a wheelchair-accessible one?
We rent a wheelchair-accessible unit and describe it by its specs: 32-inch door frame, roll-in floor, 16+ square feet inside. If an inspector needs specific documents, find out what they need and call us before booking.
Do I need an event permit in Laredo?
We could not confirm the city's current special event permit rules, so call City of Laredo 311 before you plan restrooms around a permit. Outside city limits, large gatherings go to the county judge.
About us & booking · 11 questions

Who am I renting from, and how do I reach you?

You're renting from Jason Rental Works, a Laredo-based company at 3804 San Bernardo Ave, Laredo, TX 78041. Dispatch answers (956) 396-3700 live from 7 am to 7 pm, Monday through Saturday, in English and Spanish. Online quotes are answered within 30 minutes during business hours.

About us & booking

What is your company called? Do you go by another name?
Jason Rental Works. Our website is Laredo Porta Potty Rentals. Both names appear on our texts and invoices, with one phone number: (956) 396-3700. More about Jason Rental Works.
Are you the company that delivers, or a booking service?
We're the company that delivers. Units are cleaned, loaded and dispatched from our San Bernardo Ave yard, and the person who answers the phone works with the drivers.
Do you have other companies you'd recommend?
If we can't make your date, we tell you on the call so you can keep looking. For events across the river in Nuevo Laredo, we can point you to providers in Mexico.
Did y'all do our last rental?
Give dispatch the phone number or address from your last order, and we look it up. If it was us, your placement notes can carry over.
When I call back, do I ask for you?
No need. Anyone at dispatch can pull up your order with your phone number or reservation number. Call (956) 396-3700.
Our last company never called us back. Do you have the capacity?
Call and ask about your date; dispatch tells you on the spot. Calls are answered live 7 am–7 pm, Monday through Saturday, and online quotes get a reply within 30 minutes during those hours.
Can I write down a number in case we get disconnected?
Write down (956) 396-3700; it rings dispatch directly. If a call drops while we're booking you, we call you back.
Can you text me instead? The email isn't coming through.
Yes. We send quotes and invoice links by text and email, and text is usually faster. E-sign emails that went slow or landed in spam were one of the most common snags in the calls we reviewed.
I need to check with my husband, daughter or the property owner first. Can you hold it?
We hold a date once it's paid. Since cancelling 24 or more hours before delivery gets a full refund, many callers book now and confirm at home. Or ask for a texted quote to share first.
You're closed already?
Dispatch answers 7 am–7 pm, Monday through Saturday, and is closed Sunday. Leave a voicemail or send the quote form; Sunday messages are checked Sunday evening, and we call back first thing Monday.
Can you put it under the host's name and send them the invoice?
Yes. The order can be in your name with the host as the on-site contact, or the invoice can go to the host. Four of the 19 callers we reviewed were booking for someone else's property.
What dispatch asks you · 4 questions

What will dispatch ask me when I call?

Dispatch asks 6 things to quote and book a porta potty: your ZIP or address, the date, the unit, how many units, your guest or crew count, and a mobile number for the quote text. Placement notes, gate codes and an on-site contact can come later, any time before delivery.

What dispatch asks you

What information do you need to give me a quote?
ZIP or address, event or start date, unit type, quantity, guest or crew count, and a mobile number. Two callers in our sample had never rented a porta potty, and those six answers were all it took.
Why do you ask what time my event starts?
So we route your drop well before it. An evening event, or one where guests arrive early, gets a morning window or a day-early drop.
Will anybody be on site when the driver comes?
Nobody has to be. Mark the spot or text a photo. If someone will be there, give us that person's number so the driver can call when he's close.
Why do you ask about gates, dogs, cables and fences?
Each one has slowed a delivery before. Low cable lines, dogs, electric fences and creek crossings all came up in the calls we reviewed. A one-line note on the order saves a second trip and a dry-run fee.

What should I read next before I book?

Most callers need 3 more answers before they book: how many units, what the total costs, and which unit fits. Start with the sizing chart, then the itemized cost guide, then the unit comparison table. Jobsite renters should also read the OSHA guide.
