Pump-out service

Do you pump out RV and camper holding tanks in Laredo?

Yes. Jason Rental Works pumps RV and camper holding tanks, and customer-owned restroom trailers, in Laredo. Pump-outs are scheduled, usually within 1 to 3 business days of your call, not same-day. A 20-foot camper with a combined tank of about 50 gallons is a single quick visit for our truck.

We're honest about timing because a caller in our reviewed set found out the hard way. His 20-foot camper was full, he was "really hoping" for a pump-out that day, and the company he called had nothing until the middle of the next week. Call as soon as the gauge reads two-thirds, not when it reads full.

Camper gauges are not always right, either. Sensors in black tanks get coated and read high or low. If the toilet starts gurgling or the shower drains slowly, assume the tanks are close to full and book the pump-out. Until the truck comes, a rented standard unit by the camper door buys you the time.

From our call logs
2 same-day

requests came up in our 19 reviewed calls. One of them was a camper owner who needed his holding tank pumped that day and was told to wait until the next week. That's why we tell you the real pump-out window, 1–3 business days, up front.

Before the truck comes

What do you need to know before pumping my camper?

Dispatch needs 5 facts before a camper pump-out: the tank sizes (black and grey), where the camper is parked, how close the truck can get, the gate code, and whether anyone will be there. A 20-foot travel trailer with about 50 gallons of tank space is routine; tell us if it's a fifth-wheel or a park model.

  1. Read your tank sizes off the camper's spec sticker or manual.
  2. Measure the distance from where a truck can park to the camper's dump valve.
  3. Clear the path: firm ground, no low branches or wires over the truck.
  4. Close both valves and leave the sewer outlet cap reachable.
  5. Share the gate code or meet the driver; pay by card or text link when booking.

Pick the right fix

Should I pump my RV tank or rent a porta potty for the campout?

Pump your RV tank when 1 camper is full and the trip continues. Rent a porta potty when 10, 20 or 30 people share the site, so the camper tank doesn't fill in a day. A family campout of 30 people over a weekend needs 2 standard units by our overnight ratio of 1 per 25.

Ranch roads

How do you deliver over cattle guards, caliche roads and locked gates?

We deliver to ranches by map pin, not mailbox. Send a Google Maps pin, every gate code, and a note on each cattle guard and caliche stretch between the county road and the spot. The truck wants a road 10 to 11 feet across with limbs trimmed above 12 feet, and the spot should be level and firm.

On the road inWhat to tell dispatch
Cattle guardsHow many, how wide, any damage
Caliche or clay roadSoft spots, ruts, recent rain
Locked gatesEvery code, in order, or who will open them
Low water crossingsWhere they are and how they look after rain
Mesquite and brushLow limbs over the road near camp

Webb County is brush country of clay and loam with caliche underneath. It's firm when dry and slick after rain. More on reading the ground in our placement guide for caliche, floods and cattle guards.

Hunting camps

What does a hunting lease camp need for restrooms?

A hunting lease camp with up to 25 people staying overnight needs 1 standard porta potty, and 26 to 50 people need 2, by our overnight ratio of 1 per 25. Add a hand-wash station by the cleaning table. Camps on the lease all season run on 28-day cycles with weekly service.

Hunters who sleep in campers on leases near Laredo can add a pump-out midway through the season, so the trailers don't fill. Lease camps east toward Oilton, Bruni and Mirando City sit in Zone 2, served next-day or on a schedule. The full season plan, including busy weekends, is on our seasonal rentals page.

Skinning shed or cleaning table? Set the hand-wash station there, and keep the toilet downwind of the cook tent. Both need firm ground the truck can reach.
Falcon Lake & Zapata

Do you serve campers and lake lots around Falcon Lake and Zapata?

Yes. Zapata and the Falcon Lake area, down US 83 from Laredo, are Zone 2 for Jason Rental Works: next-day or scheduled delivery, and same-day only when a truck is already headed that way. Falcon Lake bass fishing and tournaments bring weekend crowds of campers, so book porta potties for lake lots early.

Zapata County has no incorporated cities, so outdoor events there fall under the county. Large gatherings may need a permit from the Zapata County Judge under the Texas Mass Gatherings Act. Town details are on the Zapata porta potty page.

RV pump-outs in Zapata? Our scheduled pump-out service is for Laredo. Call to ask whether a Zone 2 route is running your way that week.
Trailers you own

Can you pump out a restroom trailer or camper we own?

Yes. Jason Rental Works pumps customer-owned restroom trailers and campers in Laredo on the same schedule as RV pump-outs, usually within 1 to 3 business days. Book the pump-out when you book your event, so a Saturday party's trailer can be emptied on Monday or Tuesday.

  1. Tell us what you own: trailer or camper, stall count and waste tank sizes.
  2. Say where it's parked, with a pin if it sits on a ranch or a lot without an address.
  3. Pick the day, after the event or before the next trip, within the 1–3 day window.
  4. Pay by card or text link when you book; there's no cash on the truck.

Church groups, ranch families and small venues that own a trailer may only need a pump-out a few times a year. Booking ahead keeps you from calling on a full tank with guests coming. If the trailer runs short of tank space at a big event, a rental standard unit beside it takes the overflow.

Need a trailer instead of owning one? See our restroom trailer rentals.

Moving units

Can I move a porta potty around the ranch with my tractor?

No. A used porta potty can't be tipped, lifted with forks or dragged until it is pumped, and the renter pays for any damage from towing or dragging. One caller asked about moving a unit with a tractor and forks. The safer answer is a towable unit, a 60-gallon standard unit that rides on its own single-axle trailer.

  • Pick the spot once, with the truck path in mind, before the unit is used.
  • Need it somewhere else? Call; we pump it and move it on the next service visit.
  • Moving every few days? Rent a towable unit and tell us the schedule so service can find it.
  • Keep it out of draws and low spots; South Texas flash floods rise fast.
FAQ

Ranch, camper and pump-out questions

Questions taken from real rental calls, answered by our dispatchers.

(956) 396-3700
How much is an RV or camper pump-out in Laredo?
An RV or camper holding-tank pump-out in Laredo typically runs $95–$175 per visit before tax. The price depends on how far the truck parks from your camper and whether the site is in town or out on a ranch. Dispatch quotes it before scheduling.
Can you pump out my camper today?
Usually not. Pump-outs are scheduled, normally within 1–3 business days. If you can't wait, rent a standard porta potty for the site; those go out same-day in Laredo when you call by noon, Monday through Saturday, and take the pressure off the camper tank.
Do you pump out restroom trailers we own?
Yes. Jason Rental Works pumps customer-owned restroom trailers in Laredo on the same schedule as RV pump-outs, usually within 1–3 business days. Tell dispatch the tank sizes and where the trailer is parked.
Can I pay cash when the pump truck comes?
No. We take Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and debit, by phone or through a secure link texted to you. No cash, no card fee and no fuel surcharge.
Will your truck cross a cattle guard?
Tell dispatch about every cattle guard, its width and its condition when you book. The driver plans the route around them and calls the contact you give if anything on the road looks unsafe. A washed-out guard is a reason to reschedule, not to risk the truck.
Do you deliver porta potties to Falcon Lake campsites?
Yes, to private property and campsites where the owner allows it. Zapata and the Falcon Lake shore are Zone 2: next-day or scheduled delivery, with same-day only when a truck is already headed down US 83. Send a map pin for lake lots without an address.
Can I tow the porta potty to a different blind or pen?
Only a towable unit, and only after it has been pumped if it's been used. A standard unit should never be dragged with a truck or tractor. If the crew or hunters move around a lot, ask for a towable unit on a single-axle trailer.
